I have just gotten the source code transferred into SourceForge’s SVN repository (which you can browse here), and tagged and released CD Lite v1.1.  You can download it here.

CD Lite now on sourceforge.net

CD Lite is a little program I wrote almost three years ago. It’s been languishing on my personal website ever since, which doesn’t get much traffic and therefore, probably not many downloads. The original blurb was:

“The CD players you can get on the Web these days are mostly horribly bloated monstrosities with skins, visualization, equalizers, and five different ways to randomize your playlists. I just wanted something light and unobtrusive that would let me listen to music while working. CD Lite exists as an icon in your system tray, accessed only through menus. It’s a basic, simple, no-frills CD player that lets you name tracks and change the play order.”

Today, the thing about the lack of any simple, lightweight players on the Web is still true, so this is my contribution. Source code and releases will be up as soon as I get it imported from the old Subversion repository.
